Vista’s head social media co-ordinator Lauren Barnes takes a look at why a traditional door might be right for your home!

An exterior door is usually designed to make a statement. It’s the first impression that people will have as they enter your home. Whilst our range embraces both traditional and contemporary doors styles, we thought we’d take a closer look at why the timeless designs in our composite door range continue to appeal to homeowners.

Classic Design

Our most popular door is still the York, with its two long glazing apertures it lets in a sufficient amount of light. The York door design also has the widest range of glass designs in our catalogue, so there is plenty of room for homeowners to further stamp their individuality on the door.

Grand Entrance

Our Edwardian design is a 19th Century inspired townhouse door. It can feature just the small top two panels or the top four panels glazed, depending on how much privacy is required. It is a grand-looking door design, and with our range of etched glass designs, it is a firm favorite and looks great in any of the sixteen brochure colours we offer.

Realistic Finish

The Georgian door proves there is nothing wrong with keeping it simple. This timeless design perfectly replicates the timber-inspired original, balancing security, privacy, and elegance in one classic look. The Georgian design can be tailored with a number of glass designs and can come with the lower panels glazed as well as just the top arch.

Urban Feel

Our newest edition to the brochure is the 1920’s Tudor door. Popular in urban settings, it is a great way to compliment your house’s period look. A sizeable portion of the UK’s houses were built around the 1930s, so this door really looks good on those semi-detached properties.
